Shipping Procedures for Roaches
Live arrival is guaranteed! It is VERY UNUSUAL for a shipment to not arrive in the best condition - alive and healthy, but the procedures for reporting and returning DOA's (Dead On Arrivals) are listed below. Please read this section carefully so that you understand our policy. If in the rare circumstance roaches do not arrive alive, understand the following policy. DO NOT DISPOSE OF THE DEAD ROACHES - THEY WILL NEED TO BE RETURNED FOR YOUR GUARANTEE. The return is done for several reasons, but we would like to look at the insects and see if there is anything we can do to protect them for future shipments.
Remember that roaches will hibernate if the temperature drops below 55°F. You must give them time to warm up to see if they are actually dead when shipping in cooler weather. We WILL NOT SHIP when the weather will not allow for a successful shipment.

We will work with you in your preference of shipping. We normally ship USPS and it is very economical. If you wish to have them overnighted we can use several services to get them to you by noon the next business day. Depending on weather, we may require overnight service to ship. We charge actual shipping costs and do not inflate shipping and handling to make money. When you tell us what you would like to order we will e-mail you back an exact shipping cost depending on your location and the size of your order. We also require insurance in case the delivery service makes a mistake such as sending your package to the wrong area of the country. Insurance costs are actual costs and generally inexpensive (many times included with the regular fee of shipping). A typical roach order usually costs less than $10.00 for two-day delivery during good weather. We will add heat packs ($1.00 per) and extra fees at actual cost such as foam inserts. We also charge actual package fees which vary by size of order but generally very inexpensive (depending on size of order) such as $1.00 for shipping cups and $2.00 for styrofoam shipping boxes.
